The projector itself is beautiful, soundcore were excellent on delivering etc. my only gripe is the projector kept turning to a black screen after about 30 seconds of use. I think it’s software related, so have completed the update and manually set my screen size etc. it seems better but I’ll have to see it out before I score any differently. I want to love it though; the picture is brilliant.
Good hardware, good picture, good sound. Clever and functional auto keystone. But the whole thing is let down by the awful operating system. It seems like Google TV has been shoehorned into an underpowered device and it's painful to use. Entire features don't work. Pairing with an external audio system over bluetooth is almost impossible and you can't cast to the projector without the entire Google TV ecosystem. When you do, the audio lag is more than the built-in adjustment allow and you're left with out of sync everything - all of the suggested fixes online don't work at all. It's awful! The supplied firmware was unusable and needed upgrading before anything worked at all. Also a disappointingly dull picture, and no, it's not in eco mode. Fine when plugged in via HDMI, but that's not what I want it for!
I’m really happy with this projector - mostly use it when it’s dark but have been using it a bit on daytime as well and had no problem seeing the image. The sound is great too, and it does work about 2.5 hours on battery. I use it for watching movies / YouTube / playing video games. Best purchase I made this year!
