These are the most impressive budget Hi‑Res earbuds I’ve tested, offering spatial audio, Hi‑Res playback, LDAC, adaptive ANC, wear detection, and an LCP diaphragm, the technology reserved to used in premium models, all managed through the app. Sound quality is excellent, with balanced lows, mids, and highs, warm‑balanced tuning, punchy bass, and strong sub‑bass. Hi‑Res codecs reveal extra detail, though Android users benefit most since Apple devices are limited to AAC.
The glossy finish resists dust and earwax and wipes clean easily; only the front grill needs occasional brushing. The included fins ensure a comfortable fit for many ear shapes. They don't produce any static shocks common in some clip‑on open‑ear earbuds.
The 4‑mic Adaptive ANC performs strongly, especially on rainy days when transport noise increases in damp air, and it is effective against steady, low‑frequency noise below 1 kHz, including kitchen extractor fans, vacuums, aircraft hum, and crowd noise. Transparency Mode and Adaptive ANC both function noticeably well, though each introduces a mild system hiss. Wear detection is accurate, pausing audio when removed and resuming only if one earbud stays in the ear. I think, they use older IR optical sensor technology for that but still it works great and I noticed almost no false triggers.
Note that the touch controls support cycling through Normal, ANC, and Transparency modes, but the modes can’t be managed independently on each earbud. Whatever mode cycle you assign to the left earbud automatically applies to the right, which makes switching through all three modes a bit inconvenient. The app includes Spatial Audio, a Preference Test, many EQ presets, and an 8‑band Custom EQ and each setting produces a clearly different and enjoyable sound.
Real‑time translation is highly accurate and works even without an active Bluetooth connection. The Anka AI assistant handles contextual phrases for travel and business. For face‑to‑face translation, you must manually tap the native and target language buttons, as these controls cannot be triggered via touch gestures.
