soundCore AeroClip

The SoundCore AeroClip is an impressive addition to the SoundCore lineup. The sound quality is fantastic, with bass options that truly enhance the listening experience. Pairing the device with its companion app was a breeze. The interface is intuitive and easy to navigate, which adds to the overall user experience. The fit of the AeroClip is excellent. I tested wearing it on each ear throughout my workday, and it remained comfortable the entire time. It’s so lightweight and non-intrusive that I often forgot I had it on! Communication with others while using it was seamless; the AeroClip doesn’t distort external sounds, making it ideal for multi-tasking or casual use in social settings. Overall, this is a great product and a worthy addition to SoundCore’s lineup. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable, high-quality audio gear!

Amazing

These have become my favorite earbuds for work and home. The only time I don't use them is when using equipment that requires in ear. Great for cycling when I need to be aware of traffic, the office when I need to chat with folks, no more awkward pulling out of ear just pause and it's chat time. They're secure they stand up to skiing and cycling no problem. Id 100% recommend to anyone. Well built

Looks and feels like earrings

Very comfortable to wear and the sound quality is quite good. Only real downside is the touch controls don't feel as sensitive as the Aerofit 2, though there is a very big size difference there. Overall very simple pairing process, and the size is quite compact. Though the method of wearing is clipping it on your ear, it actually feels more comfortable that than the Aerofit 2 which sits on top of your ear. With the Aeroclip, you quickly forget that they are even there. There is definitely some adjustment needed to make sure they seat properly, but there is a decent amount of ambient sound blocking. Overall a very expensive pair of headphones, but a very nice minimalistic design that doesn't compromise sound quality and comfort.

Awesome and Unique

The soundcore AeroClip by Anker are a very good pair of clip ons headphones. They are very well designed. And they have style. They are very easy to pair with the phone and they connect as soon as you take them out of the charging case which in itself a great designed standing case. They are flexible and clip to your ears sideways or directly. The sounds are of high quality and the music keeps its recorded quality at 100%. No distortions or cutting off.I made some calls from them and no issues were noticed. They are very light and sometimes I forget they are on.You can run, walk, or even work at your kitchen, they stay put and you don't need to adjust or touch them. They will work without any intervention.I love them and thing they are innovative. The price is good too.I like them and recommend them.

sounds great and are very comfortable to wear

These have a pretty comfortable fit, I can barely feel them when they're in after a few minutes. They also stay pretty snug while I'm running. I like how clear my music comes through while I'm still able to hear loud noises from the environment around me. I thought the outside noise would be distracting, but it feels like it I only notice it if there's someone trying to talk to me. I recommend these for sure\

Great for activities needing secure fit! Great sound but doesn't isolate like in-ear buds.

These Soundcore AeroClips by Anker are one of the more unique designs I have seen for earbud style headphones. They clip to your ear and the earbud part sits just outside your ear canal. For those that do not like the feeling of earbuds inside your ear canal, such as the pressure, then the AeroClips are a great alternative, though with a few caveats. You will lose out on some sound quality and noise isolation that you get from in-ear style buds. On the flip side, the other advantage of the AeroClips is they fit securely on your ear if doing any physical activities. This makes the AeroClip great for workouts, runs, etc. You may not win any style awards though, as they look like giant ear rings when worn lol. With the AeroClip you receive the usual charging case and USB-C charge cable. Instead of getting different silicone boots for the buds, you get a set of silicone boots for the larger bud that sits behind the ear. If you have smaller ears there are two sizes of these boots that can slipped on to secure the AeroClip tightly to your ears. As for the case, there is the usual flip top to access the earbuds. There is marked R and L for each of the buds to sit in for charging. On the outside is a single LED bar on the front to indicate charge and battery status. The USB-C port and reset button are located at the rear. Built quality for everything is excellent. The AeroClips are very well made with a super flexible band between the two "buds". Although the AeroClip looks fairly large, they are actually very light. Weight is not an issue and I barely notice they are there.Charging was pretty quick for the AeroClip. I could not find much battery info except for the charge case, that indicated 580 mAh. The manual does claim that 10 minutes of charge will give 3 hours of music. So far I think the battery life of the buds along with storing/charging them in the case has given me great battery life. I mostly use the AeroClips for music though, and not calls, so your mileage may vary.Comfort-wise I think the AeroClips are awesome. When I wear in-ear buds I find after a long time I get some "fatigue" and my ear hurts a bit. With the AeroClips, because they sit outside the ear canal, I don't experience the same fatigue and pain. I do feel a little pressure on the ear lobe because of the "clip" design, but I don't notice the weight. For those with larger ears though the "clip" style may put more pressure to make the AeroClips uncomfortable.Sound quality is excellent for being out of the ear canal. I was shocked at how much bass there is. I find for in-ear canal earbuds, when they do not form a good seal, they sound flat and tinny. You don't have that issue with the AeroClip. They honestly sound great without having to form that seal. The only thing though, is if you push them closer to your ear canal they sound even better! Obviously with the AeroClips you will not get the same sound isolation as the in-ear buds. You will pick up ambient noises easier. This is the downside of the AeroClip. The advantage though is you can be more aware of your surroundings without the need to support the passthrough feature, which ruins the sound quality in my opinion. Also, not every earbud supports passthrough. Definitely some tradeoffs here both ways. Another thing to note, being open ear I was worried that the music may carry. While people around you may hear something if they are close to you, honestly, it was a lot better than I expected. They have to be very close to your head to hear the beat. As for music controls, you can tap on the band closest to the small earbud. With how it is positioned on my ear I found it was hard to tap that area as it is in my ear. Also, the only music controls supported is pause/play and fast forward a track by triple tapping. You can also use the control to answer/terminate calls. I was disappointed that there was no volume control! You will have to take your phone out if you need to adjust the volume, sadly.I don't really have too many occasions to use the built in microphone. Anker claims AI Boosted support for the 4 beam-forming microphones. It supports the typical noise-cancelling features, like for wind noise and for busy streets. For my uses the microphones sounded clear to people on the other end of the call. There were no complaints about clarity or volume.Last thing to note. I did not see anything in the instructions about a companion app. I know some other brands have an app that can be used to set come sound profiles. However, more importantly, the apps support firmware updating of the earbuds. Unfortunately it does not look like the Anker's support this on the AeroClips. What you buy is what you will have for the life of the product. For the price of the AeroClips I thought they would have away to upgrade, whether needed or not. This leads me to the conclusion, on whether the AeroClips are worth their cost ($179.99 at time of review).
