Sleep A20 Left and Right Replacement Earbuds - Beige

I signed up for the care plan expecting that if something went wrong I would be covered. I lost my right earbud in a hotel room and for more than six months I have been told there is no stock available. Instead of a replacement or a refund I have been offered a discount on future purchases until the end of 2025.

That completely misses the point. I did not pay for a discount voucher, I paid for a care plan. Being told to spend more money to get value back from the plan feels like being fobbed off.

A fair resolution would be simple, provide the replacement promptly or refund me in full. Until then I feel misled and let down. Customers should expect better.

My one year Soundcore Care plan that I purchased extra when I backed the sleep buds on kickstarter. Unfortunately my plan ended on May 31 of this year and my dog ate my wife's left earbud a couple of days ago. I contacted their CS and 1st they tell me the plan doesn't cover lost or damaged earbuds. So, I pointed out that in the pic I had attached to the email, and told them about in the same email that they clearly didn't look at, the plan clearly stated that it does cover lost or damaged earbuds.

However, they chose not to honor the plan that had only lapsed by 1 month. I worked in customer service for a long time and I can tell you that it was well within their ability, and would cost them very little, to honor the care plan I added to my order when I backed the campaign.

You would think that a company that is small enough to need to do a crowd funding campaign would be a little more appreciative towards the customers that helped them bring their product to fruition and that reached at out in need of help in a very polite manner, instead they're choosing to act like a shitty, greedy corporation that can't be bothered with their own customers.

Well, other companies are starting to do sleep buds as well, I suggest taking your business to them for a likely superior product and with definitely superior customer service as Soundcore by Anker is clearly doing well enough they no longer need your patronage or care if they have it.

I've attached photos for your reference and not that a replacement earbud is $149.99 CAD whereas a brand new set is $199.99 on Amazon. Sounds like a bit of a ripoff to me.

Some bugs, I sometimes lose connectivity from 1 earbud when sleeping on it. But it is designed to sleep with, so very disappointed with the product

We were promised Souncore Care when backing this Kickstarter, but these replacement buds have been out of stock for months. Essentially rendering the Soundcore Care useless. Quite disappointing.
