Introduction: The True Test of Durability
I purchased these earbuds with my own money, and I certainly didn't intend to put them through a hazard test. My use case is fairly typical, but one recent clumsy accident led to an utterly unbelievable outcome, proving these earbuds are virtually indestructible.
The Chemical Baptism
The incident occurred while I was mixing powerful chemical pesticides. Through my own clumsiness, the left earbud slipped and fell directly into the poisonous, hazardous mixture. Due to the consistency and toxic nature of the chemicals, retrieving the earbud with my bare hands was absolutely impossible. I had to use a filter strainer just to pull it out.
Knowing the earbud was surely a total goner, I immediately followed the protocol used for flushing the eyes when exposed to pesticides. I vigorously flushed the earbud with cleaning solution (water), removed the ear tip, and made sure the water penetrated the perforated areas at the base—the parts designed to smooth out sound vibrations for a better sound experience.
The Unbelievable Result
I truly expected silence. I was preparing to file an insurance claim, but out of sheer curiosity, I held the earbud close. To my overwhelming surprise, I could hear sound emitting from the left unit!
I placed the earbud in my ear, still completely saturated with the cleaning solution. The music was still playing via the Pandora app. (Disclaimer: Pandora is a copyright of Pandora; I hold no license or intend to make any money from the name Pandora in this review.)
The song playing was "I'm a little crazy but the world's insane." It was playing as if nothing had transpired with the baptism of my left earbud within this poisonous mixture. The Bluetooth connection from my phone remained flawless throughout the ordeal.
Final Verdict
The fact that this device survived immersion in a caustic, poisonous solution, followed by a vigorous water flush, and immediately continued functioning, is a testament to its engineering. This isn't just water resistance; this is survival. If you need earbuds that can handle the absolute worst, look no further.

Sound quality:I'm quite happy with the overall quality and tone of these earbuds. I would describe them as quite bright and detailed, which is a nice break from most pairs these days which seem to be very V-shaped and bass boosted. They have a very consumer-friendly sound to them meaning no harsh peaks, clear vocals, and punchy instrumentation. This does have the effect of sounding slightly processed sometimes though, especially in the drums.Fit & build:These fit very well in my ears, and never feel as though they are going to fall out. That's partially due to their light weight, but they also fill my outer ear quite well for a nice seal. They also feel quite sturdy, and I am impressed by the build of the case - something that is often quite cheap feeling on a lot of headphones.Other features:ANC works quite well, but it's not quite on the same level as airpods or other high-performing modelsTransparency mode was very impressive, and sounds incredibly natural to my ears!Personally I hate the squeeze controls, as they take way more effort to activateI appreciate the ability to customize EQ in the appOverall an impressive pair of bluetooth in-ears. If you like a brighter tuning and the overall style of these, they are a pretty good pick up.
