How to Wear and Switch Forms
- Set the ear hooks to level 1 or 2 and hook AeroFit 2 Pro onto your ears.- Adjust the ear hook levels to switch between the two forms. Levels 1 and 2 are typically for Open-Ear form, while Levels 4 and 5 are for ANC form. ANC activates only when both ear hooks are set to Levels 4 or 5.

Excuse the review length but I wanted to provide as much feedback as possible!
What I Like
1. Open-ear + ANC (surprisingly effective)
• When you want noise reduction, the ANC actually works well. The open-ear design/surrounding noise blockage was already solid, but I was genuinely surprised by how much ambient noise it blocks in ANC, especially at higher volumes.
• With certain EQ presets it even tunes out more ambient noise (my favs are Balanced, Electronic and Rock).
2. Much better microphone integration
• “Hey Siri” / “Siri”responds instantly.
• Calls & voice notes: Excellent across the board. No complaints.
3. A little more snug, but in a good way
• The redesign felt strange at first, but once adjusted, comfort is still all-day. I actually prefer the fit on these, it makes the earbuds feel more secure.
4. Anka / AI translation
• No “hey Anka” as these are not an AI edition. The translation works via the translation tab in the Soundcore app.
• The translation also cannot be pre-set via a press control option.
5. Physical buttons > touch controls
• Requires an intentional press, which I strongly prefer.
• No accidental triggers when adjusting fit.
• Left and right earbuds are independently customizable:
– Single / double / triple / long press can all be mapped
– Call controls are fixed (single press to answer, long press to decline)
6. EQ flexibility
A ton of presets plus full custom EQ.
• You can set separate EQs for Open-Ear and ANC modes, which is super convenient.
• To me they still have that punchy base, just make sure you pick the right EQs!
7. Price
• Given the feature set, these are an easy recommendation at this price point.
Opportunities for Improvement
1. Earbud level/position identification
• It would helpful if the app (or via an iPhone widget) showed which position or level each earbud is set to. Early on, it’s sometimes hard to tell; especially if one side feels slightly different on the ear.
2. Case size
• Not terrible, but noticeably bigger if you’re coming from the AeroFit 2 or smaller earbuds.
3. Battery life trade-off
• Battery life is shorter than the other headphones like the AeroFit 2, but given the added features, it feels like a good compromise.
• Fast charging helps: ~10 min charge ≈ ~3.5 hours of use
• Short breaks aren’t necessarily a bad thing—so battery life isn’t a deal-breaker.
Excited to see what changes may come from future firmware updates + new colors! These are a worthy investment!
I'm haven't purchased these earbuds but I really like the concept and I hope that they gain traction. I decided to stick with the Aerofit 2 because of more reviews, comparisons, and testing done on them. I hope this model is successful and companies continue down this track though.
I'm a soundcore fan boy for many years now. But I have to say these new open ear/closed ear concept is so nice. Extremely comfortable and sound amazing as always. I'm so glad I took the plunge and paid the price. Well worth it.
Too large for my ears
Works well in open ear form & sound very good in anc form even without anc on but light in the ears and not stuffy like in ears. I love my x20 sports but had to get these to try for work & they're instant keepers. Phones calls sound very clear too! Nice having the option to tweak settings, etc too.
