soundcore Try Now Campaign Official Rules

Sponsor: The "Try Now" Campaign (the "Campaign") is sponsored by Anker Innovations Limited, a company incorporated and existing under the laws of Hong Kong SAR, operating the Soundcore brand ("Sponsor," "Soundcore," "we," or "us"). The Campaign is conducted in partnership with TryNow, the technology platform facilitating the try-before-you-buy service. The Campaign is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any social media or third party.
Official Rules: These are the official rules (the "Official Rules") for the Campaign. "Participant" means any individual who, during the Campaign Period, successfully enrolls in and places a qualifying order through the Campaign soundcore.com. By participating in the Campaign, Participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and all decisions of the Sponsor relating to the Campaign, which shall be final and binding on all Participants.
Eligibility: The Campaign is open to legal residents of the 50 States of the United States of America and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older at the time of participation. The Campaign is not open to employees of Sponsor, TryNow, or their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising or promotional agencies (collectively the "Campaign Entities"), or to the immediate family members of, or to any persons domiciled with, any such employees. For purposes of the Campaign, "immediate family members" include a Participant's spouse, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, and grandchildren. Void outside the United States and where prohibited by law, rule, or regulation. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
Participation Limit: The Campaign is limited to 5,000 enrolled participants on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the enrollment limit is reached, the Campaign enrollment will close and the Try Now option will no longer be displayed on soundcore.com
How to Participate:
To enroll in the Campaign, a Participant must:
  1. Visit soundcore.com during the Campaign Period;
  2. Select an Eligible Product that displays the "Try Now" option;
  3. Add the Eligible Product to the cart and proceed to checkout;
  4. Select the "Try Now" payment option and provide a valid credit card for pre-authorization; and
  5. Complete the checkout process to confirm the order.
Each Participant is eligible for only one (1) Try Now order. Each Try Now order is limited to one (1) Eligible Product. The Campaign may be combined with discount codes, subject to their applicable terms.
CREDIT CARD PRE-AUTHORIZATION — IMPORTANT NOTICE:
BY PLACING A TRY NOW ORDER, PARTICIPANT AUTHORIZES SPONSOR AND TRYNOW TO PLACE A PRE-AUTHORIZATION HOLD (ALSO REFERRED TO AS A "CREDIT CARD HOLD" OR "AUTHORIZATION") ON PARTICIPANT'S CREDIT CARD FOR THE FULL RETAIL PRICE OF THE ELIGIBLE PRODUCT AT THE TIME OF CHECKOUT. THIS IS NOT AN ACTUAL CHARGE — NO AMOUNT WILL BE DEBITED FROM PARTICIPANT'S ACCOUNT AT THE TIME OF ORDER PLACEMENT. THE PRE-AUTHORIZED AMOUNT WILL TYPICALLY APPEAR AS "PENDING" ON PARTICIPANT'S CREDIT CARD STATEMENT AND WILL TEMPORARILY REDUCE PARTICIPANT'S AVAILABLE CREDIT BY AN AMOUNT EQUAL TO THE PRODUCT PRICE.
Participant understands and agrees that:
The pre-authorization hold will be placed immediately upon order confirmation and will remain active throughout the 30-day Trial Period.
If Participant decides to KEEP the product: The pre-authorized amount will be automatically converted to an actual charge and debited from Participant's credit card approximately one (1) business day after the Trial Period ends. No further action is required by Participant to complete the purchase.
If Participant decides to RETURN the product: Upon Sponsor's warehouse confirming receipt and inspection of the returned product in acceptable condition, the pre-authorization hold will be released within three (3) to seven (7) business days. Because no actual charge was ever processed, Participant will not receive a monetary refund — instead, the held amount will be released and Participant's available credit will be restored. Please note that the time for the released amount to reflect in Participant's account may vary depending on Participant's card issuer.
Participant is solely responsible for ensuring that their credit card remains valid throughout the Trial Period and has sufficient available credit to support the pre-authorization hold. Sponsor and TryNow are not responsible for any overdraft fees, credit limit fees, or other bank charges incurred as a result of the pre-authorization hold.
Credit Card Authorization — Additional Terms:
Authorization Validity: Credit card pre-authorizations have varying validity periods depending on card network:
  • Visa / Mastercard / American Express: up to 30 days per authorization
  • Discover: 5-day authorization validity; TryNow will automatically re-authorize every 5 days, which may result in multiple authorization notifications from Participant's bank. These are not duplicate charges.
Expiring or Cancelled Cards: If Participant's credit card expires or is cancelled during the Trial Period, TryNow will attempt to re-authorize using the card's updated information. If re-authorization fails, Participant should contact TryNow immediately at shoppers@trynow.works. Card cancellation does not relieve Participant of the obligation to return product or complete payment of the product within the Trial Period.
Payment Method Changes: Participant may not change the payment method associated with a Try Now order after placement. If a payment method change is necessary, Participant should cancel the existing order and place a new order, subject to Campaign availability.
Trial Period:
The 30-day trial period ("Trial Period") begins on the date the Eligible Product is delivered to the shipping address provided by Participant. If the product has not been delivered within ten (10) days of the shipment date, the Trial Period will begin automatically on the tenth (10th) day following shipment.
The Trial Period is not extendable except in limited circumstances (e.g., documented logistics delays), at TryNow's sole discretion. Requests for extensions must be submitted to shoppers@trynow.works before the Trial Period expires.
Keeping the Product:
If Participant wishes to keep the Eligible Product, no action is required. Upon expiration of the Trial Period, the pre-authorized amount will be automatically charged to Participant's credit card. Participant will receive email notifications from TryNow reminding them of the upcoming charge.
Returning the Product:
To avoid being charged for the Eligible Product, Participant must complete a valid return before the expiration of the Trial Period, as follows:
  1. Initiate a return by visiting  service@soundcore.com or contacting service@soundcore.com;
  2. Obtain a return shipping label from Soundcore;
  3. Package and ship the product, including all accessories, components, and original packaging, to the designated return address; and
  4. Initiate a return shipment before the end of the Trial Period.
Return Shipping: Participants who purchase or are eligible for the Worry-Free Purchase benefit, shipping fees could be covered by free return shipping and in-transit loss/damage protection. Otherwise, return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the Participant.
Return Conditions: To be eligible for a full release of the pre-authorization hold, the returned product must include the product itself, all original accessories, and original packaging. Returns that are missing components or that show damage beyond normal, reasonable trial use may be subject to refused at Sponsor's sole discretion.
Late Returns: If the product is not received by the warehouse within 30 days of return initiation, or if no return is initiated within the Trial Period, TryNow will convert the pre-authorization to an actual charge. After being charged, Participant may still request a return under Soundcore's standard 30-day return policy by contacting service@soundcore.com.
Product Issues During the Trial Period:
If the Eligible Product exhibits a quality or defect issue during the Trial Period, Participant should contact service@soundcore.com. Sponsor may, at its discretion, offer a replacement product or facilitate a return with pre-authorization release. In the event of a replacement, TryNow will extend the Trial Period to account for shipping and replacement time.
Disqualification: Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any Participant found to have engaged in fraud, misrepresentation, abuse of the Campaign terms, or violation of these Official Rules. This includes but is not limited to: providing false shipping information, placing multiple Try Now orders in circumvention of the one-order limit, or failing to return the product while disputing the resulting charge.
INDEMNIFICATION AND LIABILITY
By participating in the Campaign, Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Sponsor, TryNow, and the Campaign Entities (collectively the "Released Entities") from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: Participant's participation in the Campaign; Participant's use or misuse of the Eligible Product during the Trial Period; Participant's failure to return the Eligible Product in accordance with these Official Rules; or any breach of these Official Rules by Participant.
The Released Entities are not liable for failure or delay in delivery or performance of their obligations under these Official Rules in the event of any cause beyond their reasonable control, including but not limited to technical malfunction, software or hardware failure, weather conditions, natural disasters, strikes, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, supervening legislation, or any other Force Majeure Events.
By participating in the Campaign, Participant agrees that the Released Entities are not responsible for, and Participant hereby irrevocably waives and releases the Released Entities from, any and all liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses in connection with: (a) any orders that are lost, damaged, or delayed due to carrier error or circumstances beyond Sponsor's control; (b) technical or human errors of any kind; (c) any injury or damage to persons or property caused by Participant's participation in the Campaign or use of the Eligible Product; or (d) any cancellation of the Campaign.
Disputes: This Campaign is conducted in English. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of Participant and Sponsor, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without giving effect to any conflict of law rules.
Limitation of Liability: BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CAMPAIGN, PARTICIPANT AGREES THAT TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW: (1) ANY AND ALL DISPUTES, CLAIMS, AND CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF OR CONNECTED WITH THE CAMPAIGN WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY, WITHOUT RESORT TO ANY FORM OF CLASS ACTION; (2) UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL PARTICIPANT BE PERMITTED TO OBTAIN ANY AWARD FOR PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, OR ANY DAMAGES BEYOND ACTUAL, DIRECT, OUT-OF-POCKET LOSSES; AND (3) PARTICIPANT'S REMEDIES ARE LIMITED TO A CLAIM FOR MONEY DAMAGES, AND PARTICIPANT IRREVOCABLY WAIVES ANY RIGHT TO SEEK INJUNCTIVE OR EQUITABLE RELIEF.
Privacy: Participation in the Campaign constitutes Participant's consent for Sponsor to collect, use, and process Participant's personal information for Campaign administration purposes in accordance with soundcore's Privacy Policy.
Governing Terms: The Campaign is subject to soundcore's Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these Official Rules and any other Campaign materials, these Official Rules shall control.
