Wow, These Are Great

The sound quality of both the speakers and mic on these earbuds is fantastic. They are super easy to pair, just remember to remove the stickers from the earbuds and place the earbuds back in the case. Then close it. When you open it again, it will automatically pair. I ran these for several hours today before fully charging them. I work from home and have many online meetings. These performed flawlessly. I could hear my colleagues clearly and they could hear me. I have nothing bad to say about them. These are my new goto earbuds.

I love them

I really like these headphones. And they arrived right as my AirPods Pro had given up. They stay connected to my iPhone and sound great. And the best part is the comfort aspect while wearing them. I do not feel sweaty or stuffy at all no matter how long these are on my ears... in fact I even forgot to take them off once. That's how conformable they are! And they sound good enough... I'm not a bass-head and these are actually perfect for me. And I get to keep aware of my surroundings so... in that regard these are the perfect headphones for walking/jogging. While I wouldn't recommend them at their listed MSRP... but knowing that these are Anker... you know they would be listed with a discount soon. So maybe wait for that.

Finally, earbuds that don't fall out of my ears

I have a real problem with earbuds that won't stay in my ears while I exert even minimal movement. I've been very frustrated doing yard work and having to stop every fifteen minutes to dig through dirt and leaves to find my fallen earbud. I thought that this wraparound style might solve my problem. They come with clips that you can add onto the base for a tighter fit. Even with these added, I find it a little hard to get them into the best position for sound quality. I've found wearing them a little farther down than they show in the pictures has worked best for me.The volume could go a a little higher. When I'm at the gym and it gets noisy, the highest setting is still a little too soft for me. The sound quality is fine for podcasts, which is what I listen to with these.Once you get them situated, they do stay on without any problems. I've used them for a week without charging them, so I'm pleased with how long the charge lasts. The other great thing about them, is the controls. Too many earbuds have complicated and too-sensitive controls. These have actual little buttons that you press to change the volume, start/stop, and fast-forward/rewind. You can adjust the earbuds freely without worrying about setting off some weird function.I'm very happy with these earbuds and hope I can remember to keep them out of my washing machine.

Comfortable fit, decent sound

This is a review for the Soundcore C40i by Anker: Was very intrigued to see how Anker would handle something like open-ear earbuds, as I feel like there's a unique niche for people who want to listen to audio, but also have to be present to listen to the world around them. This concept is certainly interesting, and provides a lot more low-end than something like bone-conduction headphones, but also is a bit strange in that (I think) your ear shape plays a huge role on whether or not the audio quality reaches the potential it can.On the plus sides, I love that there's a button instead of capacitve touch slop that you find on a lot of earbuds these days, and they pair quickly and connect/reconnect with ease. The fit and finish certainly isn't Apple level of feel, but it works well enough, though the case would be a bit "bubbly" in the pocket (i.e. probably better for bag carry). I love that they're quite "low profile" in the sense that a lot of other out-of-the-ear solutions tend to wrap around the ear, so they'll slightly interfere with things like glasses. They were surprisingly secure and didn't have problems with them on for exercise, though I would suspect they would come off if you were doing something like, say, boxing, or something that torqued your head intensely. The soundcore app easily connected, and I would say for music lovers it's almost a necessity; I would imagine that the ear shape plays a bit into the experience, but personally I found that there was a severe hollow sound, a scooped mid experience when I first booted them up that I had to fix with the EQ settings in the app. Once I did that, they performed almost as well as my Oladance Pros (but without the high end hiss). I think you'll inevitably hit a wall with performance with this approach no matter the tech; there's something that you have to give up to keep those ear canals open.So who is this for? If you've ever had ear aches, fatigue with pods, or even ear pimples or other skin issues with things that sit in the canal, this is a great intro into this open-ear world. I'd feel more comfortable walking/biking with these to keep my wits about me in the real world than trying to run buds with transparency mode, though that being said, you just have to be aware of the limitations; these won't work well in really noisy environments, and they will noise bleed more than other options. At the value-point, they're a much better investment (IMO) than going deep into Oladance, though I will update this as I continue to a/b these.
