So I bought 5 more of theses units for Christmas gifts this past 2024 Christmas. This thing isn't worth $200. I got it for $120 through Costco. For $120 it's decent, but it's honestly not much of an upgrade over my first generation Bose Soundflex, which also costs $120, or $100 at costco. It's slightly better than the first gen soundflex but not enough to justify "upgrading." I will say this has really good clarity, much better than the soundflex, so it's good for listening to dialog like podcats. Ofc it lacks bass like all of these portable speakers, and honestly the tiny little single driver Bose as good or better bass than this much larger heavier thing. Soundcore isn't the value brand it used to be. It's getting overpriced and heavily leans on aggressive marketing and an army of wanna be influencer shills on social media, and they keep raising their prices. I have tons of their products but I don't think I will be buying much anymore. Considering the prices it makes more sense to just pay a little more and get something much better from the established brands. Why would you pay $200 for their headphones when you can get a Sony MX4 for the same price? Or the new liberty 4 pro, which I also got and will also probably be returning. The regular price is like $130. $50 more you can get airpods pro 2, which are a VASTLY better product in every way, especially if you have a lot of apple devices. If the liberty 4 pro was like $100, and went on sale for $80, it would make sense. Other than the touch controls I don't find the liberty 4 pro to be an upgrade over the Liberty 4 NC, which I also have. The charging case is like 2x the size of airpods pro and Anker HUGELY exaggerates the battery life. They claim figures like 9 hours. That's total nonsense. You'd be lucky to actually get 5 hours real world use before the battery is dying.

Highly recommend this speaker, just purchased it!! Unbelievable sound quality. It feels life like sound coming out of this machine!!
