Let’s start off with a backstory. I use Anker for all my charger needs. Portable chargers, power adapters, cables, etc. They are the only brand that I can truly depend on.I decided to look for a speaker, and was leaning towards the Beats Pill. However, I saw this speaker and saw that it was $10 cheaper than the Beats. I decided to take a shot and grab this speaker.Holy moly. This speaker is RIDICULOUSLY AMAZING. I don’t write reviews just because I don’t have interest in writing such every time I buy a product, but this speaker just blew my expectations out of the water. 100% on this speaker is enough to cover a very large yard, and could even be a little too loud for that. Functionality is amazing through the app that you can download. I did find changing to LED color modes to be a little lengthy by using the buttons on the speaker, but the app makes it super fast. This speaker also has one of the best connection strengths to my phone, and I can even compare it to the range my AirPods have when connected to my phone.While I haven’t used it for an entire day, I’ve been fiddling with the speaker for an hour a day for the past week and the battery hasn’t dropped a bit.The only thing I do find to be a negative (more like a gray area type thing) is that the only way to use the “built in” battery bank is by using a USB-A cable, which is almost non-existent these days. But hey, having that option is great.

While in the final stages of purchasing a jbl charge 5 i was shown a picture of this Anker Soundcore boom 2 speaker and with all the specs, 80 w output, i canceled the jbl and bought this soundcore speaker instead. One hell of a good buy!! This speaker has supreme sound and bass, is very functional in the soundcore app and i am about to buy a second to pair to the first as the jbl charge i do have sits lonely and unused on the shelf. Buy one, you wont be disappointed! Oh ya, and it plays for damn near a full day on a full charge! Come on!
I took a chance with Soundcore and I'm a customer for now on. The sound off this guy is amazing🎶 I hope to upgrade to the Boom 2 Plus 😉 I 💯% recommend this speaker to anyone who likes the volume to the Max!
Even For the price it is on par with that $300 JBL speaker, i havent tested than battery life of it yet but the sound is great and the app is good too, only thing I don’t care for is the extra button for pairing to other speakers it could have just been something left in the app and made that button for your phones assistant instead but over all it has a amazing sound
