Wow!

My Sony earbuds stop working on one side. So I needed something cheap and quick. I bought the P30i on Amazon for $30 and got it shipped same day. I tell you it's not bad a bad product. Sound quality is great and the noise canceling is also great. 10/10 would get again if I ever need earbuds that ate affordable.

Surprisingly good earbuds almost to the point of being premium

These are my first earbuds I've tried from Anker. I wasn't really in the market for any as I already have Sony's WF1000XM4 as well as the WF1000XM5. But they came up for review so I thought I've give them a shot and worse comes to worse I'd have an extra pair for work or whatnot where I wouldn't mind if they get damaged or lost like I would with the expensive Sony. I'm glad I picked these as they've impressed me. If you're familiar with either of the Sony's then you'll know that they are consistently highly rated. I found the XM4 from Googling "best earbuds" as well as searching for the same on Youtube. It was often at the top of people's lists so I went with it then the XM5 when they came out. Aside from those I've only ever tried super inexpensive ones that I couldn't even for the life of me tell you what brand or name they are. So I'll be comparing these to the Sony.Sound.If the Sony's get an A+, these are a solid B- student. Bass is definitely present. Mids and highs are at least decent. Nothing seems all that muddled. If I had never tried the Sony or some other premium equivalents, I'd give these an A as compared to all those cheapy ones it's a night and day difference. The sound is decently good.Fit/Comfort.I'm not use to stem earbuds but I have no issues with these. The fit is not only nice the stem helps make them more secure. I didn't even have to change eartips, but if I did I like how many different size tips comes with these. Most others just give you small medium and large. These give you 6 sizes. The fit is not only better than the XM4, they're A LOT better. Comfort wise I really like these. It took me about 30 min to finally get use to the stem touching my ear but after that I have no complaints. The XM4 on the other hand have a really hardish foam that becomes really uncomfortable after about 30 min or so. Plus the buds themselves are on the large side so they could fall out too easily. If there was no such thing as aftermarket tips, I actually would have returned the XM4 despite how awesome they sound which means I more than likely wouldn't have gotten the XM5. Compared to the XM5 though that are smaller than the 4 and have better tips, these are slightly less comfortable. I'm more a fan of memory foam tips but have no issue with these silicon tips. Unlike the XM5 these stay in my ears just fine even if I shake my head fairly violently. The XM4 even with aftermarket tips can be easily shaken out. The XM5 can be too but it takes waaaay more shaking. For comfort XM5 A, Liberty A-, XM4 lol F-, SMH. (At least out of the box anyways) For fit Liberty A+. XM5 B+. XM4 C.Noise canceling. This is where these really impressed me. Part of what has led to so many giving so many good reviews to the Sony is their noise cancelling. Many call it industry leading. Others pick other ones over them but I have to ever hear or read anyone say it's not at least good. Part of that is due to their foam tips as I learned by trying several different kinds of silicon tips for the XM4 and hearing how much of a hit the noise cancelling took with silicon. So when I saw that these come with silicon out of the box, I wasn't expecting much so I was pleasantly surprised how well it works. Don't get me wrong, these still aren't nearly as good as the Sony. To give you an example of the Sony, if I'm mowing the lawn with them in and using my electric Ryobi mower, the only way I could tell that the mower is on (if I'm not pushing it) is the vibrations in the handle as well as seeing the grass bag is inflated. I mean granted an electric isn't as loud as a gas powered is but still, if there's such a thing as a quiet mower I sure have never heard of it. With these I can definitely hear the motor but it's greatly muffled. Sony A+. Liberty B.Pairing/Connection.Bluetooth pairing is incredibly easy. You don't even have to go to any bluetooth settings or list of devices. If your bluetooth is on not only will the name of these pop up but a picture of them will too as soon as you open the case. The strength of the connection is on par with the Sony. A's across the board.Case.I really like the case these have. Better than the Sony. Those have lids that can sometimes pop open in my pocket and although the buds themselves are magnetically held in with those just like these, an open case seems like something that can definitely get broken easily. This case on the other hand slides open instead of opening with a hinge so that's not an issue. I also like the size of the Liberty case. I prefer the wider and taller but flatter case over the XM5 and the even bigger XM4 case. With those not being as flat it's easier to hit them on things when in my pocket. Sony B. Liberty A+.Feedback.Both the Liberty and the XM5 uses different chimes. I much prefer how the XM4 actually talks to you. When you put them in it reads out the battery level. When you switch to noise canceling it says noise canceling. Etc. There's no chimes you have to memorize to know wh...

Near premium quality at a great price

The buds fit securely, thanks in large part to the 5 extra (6 total) ear tip sets of various sizes, as well as a slightly deeper fit than other buds. The case design isn’t my favorite from a function standpoint, and I feel like it could potentially break if one isn't careful, but I understand it’s very much a soundcore thing, and it does look different and cool compared to others. Battery life is great and will last most people for a long time before needing to charge them. Wireless charging is a nice thing to have as well. The squeeze controls work, but do require a bit more pressure to activate than I’d like them to. In any case, they do still work and give you control over a lot, minus volume control. IP55 rating is a cut above other earbuds, and gives you peace of mind that you can use these at the gym or outdoors and not worry too much about water or dust related damage.ANC and transparency are great. ANC is good against both low and high frequency sounds, and transparency is shockingly natural sounding. There is a bit of white noise hiss, but you only really hear it in quiet environments. Occlusion is minimal, and it is more than possible to keep a conversation without taking the buds out.Out of the box, the sound quality is good. The app experience takes things up a notch. Soundcore have always been great when it comes to app support on their products, and this is no different. You can choose from different EQ presets, create your own custom EQ, or create a preference-based EQ using a sample song, which is what I did, and it got these to sound almost exactly how I like. These also feature things like Dolby sound, which I don’t care much for, but I can see being good for media such as movies and TV shows, as well as a sound test that gives you some insight on your hearing relative to your age, which I like. The gaming mode I can’t say much for, as I don’t do much mobile gaming, but it’s there for those that want it.Overall, even with some slight drawbacks, this is just about a premium level set of earbuds at a fraction of the price, which soundcore have proven to be good at producing time and time again (they didn’t pay me, I promise).Pros: Fit, battery life, wireless charging, ANC, transparency, sound quality, app experience, EQ customization, extra featuresCons: Slightly bigger case compared to others, squeeze controls aren’t the most responsive, default EQ is a bit bass-heavy

Would give it 10 stars

Prepare to be absolutely blown away! The Soundcore Liberty 5 by Anker have completely redefined my listening experience. I'm not exaggerating when I say the noise cancellation is otherworldly. It's like flipping a switch and suddenly the chaotic world around you just vanishes. I've used other noise-canceling earbuds before, but the Liberty 5's Real-Time Adaptive Noise Cancellation is on a whole other level. It doesn't just block out consistent noise; it intelligently adapts to whatever environment I'm in, leaving me in a blissful bubble of pure audio. And speaking of audio, the sound quality is simply superb. The Dolby Audio integration makes every song, podcast, and audiobook come alive with incredible richness and detail. The bass is deep and punchy, the mids are clear and present, and the highs sparkle without being harsh. It's a truly immersive listening experience that I can't get enough of.But wait, there's more! The 2x Stronger Voice Reduction and 6-Mic AI Clear Calls are game-changers for calls. I can finally have crystal-clear conversations even in noisy environments. No more repeating myself or struggling to hear the other person – it's like they're right next to me.Let's not forget the convenience factor. Fast charging is a lifesaver when I'm in a hurry, and the long battery life means I can go for hours without needing to plug in. These earbuds are comfortable enough to wear all day too!Honestly, if you're looking for a pair of wireless earbuds that deliver on their promises and then some, look no further than the Soundcore Liberty 5. They offer incredible noise canceling and superb sound quality in a sleek and feature-packed package. Trust me, your ears will thank you! These are an absolute steal for the price – go get yourself a pair, you won't regret it!

Great Sound Quality

These Liberty 5 earbuds are seriously impressive. The noise cancellation is next-level—it blocks out voices way better than any earbuds I’ve used. The sound is super clear and balanced, whether I’m listening to music, watching movies, or taking calls. The earbuds are super easy to pair, as a pop-up came up on my phone as soon as I slid the lid of the case open. I was also able to download the app to control the sound settings. I really like having this ability! You can choose from a selection of preset audio selections, or you can go through a process where it asks you to pick if one sounds better than another. This allows you to reach your perfect sound setting. This is really important for people sensitive to certain sound pitches.I have a really hard time with earbuds because my ears are small. I love that these earbuds come with a ton of different sizes so you can select the exact size you need!Calls sound great also... people hear me clearly even when it's windy. Battery life is solid, and the quick charge is a lifesaver when I’m in a rush.Overall, totally worth it if you want top-tier sound and noise cancelling!
