Excellent speaker for video/movies & clarity of midrange, highs, dialog

This is an excellent portable Bluetooth speaker and imho it’s better than any comparable size speaker, especially for the price. It isn’t the biggest, the loudest, or the deepest-bass box on the planet but that isn’t what it’s for. It’s mid-size and easy to carry and live with.I mainly use it for watching video content eg. Netflix, Hulu, YouTube. Vocals stay clear and bright, and dialogue is easy to follow. That’s where this speaker shines. Not like most speakers with a bowl shaped EQ so pop and rap hit harder, but have a hard time to understand what people are saying. It has two full-range drivers, a passive radiator, and two tweeters. Those tweeters give the Motion+ some of the cleanest mids and highs you’re going to find at this size and price. Things like the strike and percussion decay of cymbals are clean. This also makes the Motion+ a strong choice for classical music and oldies from the 1980s and earlier where there isn’t much bass below 100 Hz anyway.Cons: Admittedly weak bass under 100 Hz so not going to hit hard with modern pop/rap music.

Well made.

Good quality music.

This is a “Buy it for life” Speaker

Purchased in mid 2019, today is Sept 8, 2026. Just got home from the beach with extended family. This speaker still has fantastic sound and battery life after 7 years. Trust me, I DO NOT take it easy on stuff like this. I can’t count the number of times it’s tumbled off the golf cart on to pavement and never missed a beat !

So much love

The clarity and sound from this little speaker is just amazing, I have a few speakers from them, Motion 300, boom plus and I love them all but the sound from this one makes it my favorite, had it since 2024 and still love it, just sounds better everytime I listen to it. Love this brand and their speakers!!

Real stereo sound!

Excited they brought the speaker back, This is true stereo separation. Heavy bass in great equalizer. I've spent thousands of dollars over the years on other bluetooth speakers and this is the only brand that I'll trust. Only one app to operate all of their stuff. You need to buy the speaker.
