How do I adjust the volume via the earbuds?
By default, you can only adjust the volume via your phone. Use the soundcore app to customize the touch controls on the earbuds.
How do I power the earbuds on and off?
Power on:
- The earbuds will turn on automatically when you open the charging case.
Power off:
- Put the earbuds back into the charging case and close to turn off earbuds.
- The earbuds will also turn off automatically when they're are outside the case, not being worn, and have been disconnected from your device for 30 minutes.
- When you are wearing the earbuds, they will only turn off when the battery runs out.
How should I look after Life A2 NC?
1) Use the earbuds regularly to avoid over-discharge which can harm the lifespan of the earbuds' battery. We recommend using Life A2 NC at least once a month.
2) Charge the earbuds after you use them. In order to improve the battery’s lifespan, do not always wait until there's 20% power remaining or less to charge them.
3) If you are storing the earbuds in the charging case, make sure there are at least 2 lights lit up on the case to ensure there is enough power.
4) Open the charging case's lid at least once a month to ensure the earbuds start charging.
5) Regularly clean the charging pins on the earbuds and charging case.
6) Keep the eartips clean.
7) If the case comes into contact with liquid use a hairdryer on the 'cool' setting to dry it.
How do I avoid triggering the touch pad by accident when adjusting the earbuds in my ears?
Grip the edges of the earbuds to avoid touching the touch pad while you adjust their position in your ears.
Are there any tips for upgrading Life A2 NC's firmware?
- Keep the earbuds in the charging case and ensure the case is open.
- Make sure the earbuds have enough power (over 20%).
- Do not use the earbuds during the whole process.
- Try again if it fails.
- Try it on another device if possible.
Can I use the left/right earbud on its own?
Yes, just take one earbud out from the charging case to use.
If you are using two earbuds, you can put the earbud you don't want to use in the charging case and continue using the other one on its own.

How do I reset Life A2 NC?
1) Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the cover open.
2) Press and hold the button at the bottom of the case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators on the earbuds flash red 3 times and then turn white. Wait until the LED indicator on one of the earbuds flashes fast while the other flashes slowly. This confirms that the reset was successful and your earbuds can be connected normally.
What should I do if any of the following problems occur? 1. Only one earbud has sound. 2. One side does not pair with the other side or my device. 3. No music plays after connecting with my device. 4. Cannot pair or reconnect with my device.
- Make sure your earbuds can be charged and turned on correctly.
- Put the earbuds into the charging case and close the case for 10 seconds. Then open the case to try pairing again.
If that doesn't work, try the following:
1) Forget the Bluetooth pairing record on your device if you have previously connected the earbuds.
2) Reset the earbuds. See "How do I reset Life A2 NC?"
3) If it's related to the sound issue, please also try to take off the ear tips and use a Q-tip with rubbing alcohol to clean the filter part.
What should I do if Life A2 NC disconnects or the sound is choppy?
Some environments (such as airports, offices, crowded public spaces etc.) can interfere with your Bluetooth connection. To optimize your Bluetooth connection:
1) Ensure you phone is on the right hand side of your body.
2) Download videos and songs instead of streaming.
3) If you have an Android phone, temporarily disable unnecessary app traffic settings on your phone.
Or you can try:
- Resetting the earbuds. See "How do I reset Life A2 NC?"
- Try a different device if possible.
Can Life A2 NC be paired with multiple devices at the same time?
This feature is currently not supported.
If you want to pair Life A2 NC with a second device, please use one of the following methods:
- Turn off Bluetooth on the current device so the earbuds enter pairing mode.
Or
1) Place the earbuds back into the charging case and keep the case open.
2) Press and hold the button on the back of the case for 3 seconds until the right earbud's LED flashes white. The earbuds will disconnect from the current device and enter pairing mode.

How long does it take to fully charge the earbuds?
About 2 hours.
How long does it take to fully charge the charging case?
About 2 hours by USB-C cable.
What should I do if any of the following problems occur? 1) The earbuds don’t recharge in the charging case. 2) The earbuds keep connecting to the device even after being put back in the charging case with the cover closed. 3) The earbuds don't turn on when taken out of the charging case.
1) Confirm the charging case has power left (press the button on the case and note if an LED is illuminated).
2) Clean the charging pins with a dry cloth and an alcohol-based disinfectant to ensure all charging contact pins on the earbuds and charging case are completely clean and dry of sweat and water. Then put the earbuds correctly into the case. When you put the earbuds back into the charging case, the first and third lights on the case flash twice to indicate both earbuds are charging normally.
3) If they still do not turn on, put the earbuds back into the charging case, close it for 6 seconds, and then open it again.

Normal mode is recommended for exercise.
What should I do if Life A2 NC's noise cancellation performance does not meet my expectations?
There are some things you can do to enhance the sound quality and noise cancellation:
1) Try other sizes of eartips to ensure you're using one that fits well and creates a tight seal.
2) Make sure you're wearing the earbuds in the correct position so that it creates a tight seal.
3) Try the different noise cancellation modes to find one that's most suited to your environment. You can also customize the EQ to tailor the sound to your ears.
Note: In a noisy environment and at high volume, you may feel that the noise cancellation performance is not as strong.

How do I safely dispose of the battery in the headphones or charging case?
The product must not be disposed of in your household waste, and should be delivered to an appropriate collection facility for recycling. Follow local rules and never dispose of old products and rechargeable batteries in your normal household waste. Correct disposal of old products and rechargeable batteries helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health.
