soundcore Sleep A30 | The World's First Smart ANC Sleep Earbuds

Like everyone here who has purchased these, I tried every “sleep” earbud around and wondered why they were just regular earbuds that were not comfy or quiet as advertised?. All “sleep” specific buds just couldn’t shut out the noise or fit comfortably for side sleeping. These, however, have it all! It’s a little overwhelming at first to comprehend just how much these earbuds do, ANC, white noise (and other color background noise too), your choice of tranquil sounds, their recommendations to mask sounds, data on your sleep quality, Bluetooth, auto detect sleep to turn off. There’s a lot of options to customize your favorite settings, I was glad to read the clear explanations of what they all are for. The silicone buds and wings are the softest I’ve ever felt, like nothing in my ears at all. I fall asleep to podcasts, Starry Skies or Tibetan singing bowls,etc., and wake up to a gentle hum of Himalayan wind, or the sweet sound of birds singing a gentle music alarm. It’s amazing! But I made the mistake of letting my sweetheart try them (he’s been searching as well), and he won’t give them back! Just one more day, he’ll say, just need to test them a little more, he says. Enough! Honestly, he loves them and he’s just going to have to buy them here using my member discount. I hope these last for years and that replacement tips will be available if ever necessary. As is my custom with all wireless earbuds I accidentally left them in my pocket and they went through not one, at least four wash cycles due to the magnets holding them to the interior of the washing machine and I couldn't see them. The bad news was they were wet. The good news is I took them out, let them dry out for 12 hours and they still work. I'm not a rich man so that was $229 well saved. I've lost more than one pair of earbuds that way.

Enjoyed them when they lasted but the left earbud is basically useless. I have refreshed the software, checked the firmware is updated, and it appears with the last firmware update the left one bit it. It works but the volume is about 10% of the right.
The switch from Bluetooth to local audio just turns off the audio. never had local do anything. Have to change back to Bluetooth and restart if I wake up and need the distraction to fall asleep again
Sleep score information is a joke and if you're getting it for that don't. The sleep position is just flat wrong, constantly says prone but nope, can't sleep prone at all. I was recently up and down all night and exhausted but congratulations you got a Sleep Score of 94 and 0 awakenings recorded. It's just bad and I ignore it
Also, do not expect to use these as regular headphones in a pinch. Even with ANC on they just cannot compete with daily noise. Quietish bedroom maybe, outdoors NO chance. The ANC also DRINKS the battery as others have mentioned, 5 hours IF YOU'RE lucky and it just doesn't actually work well.

Bought it on Kickstarter campaign or I wouldn't keep them. Feels like a rushed product with more promises than actually delivered. As stated by other reviewers go with the a20s at this point.

I wish the memory foam ear tips came in x-small. They are much better at noise cancellation than the silicone tips, but are firmer, so the size/fit is more important. The small size hurts my ears, so I am having to use the silicone tips. The anc is not as great as i was hoping, but i think my expectations were too high, these are tiny ear buds afterall. They are definitely better than others that fo kot have anc and they are very comfortable to wear in bed. I am a side sleeper and very sensitive. I just wish they had x-small memory foam tips like they have in the silicone.
