Surprised by sound quality

I've had the 20+ soundcore for about a week. They sound really good. Easy to connect to me Android. Blocks all the noise on my daily train commute. Lots of EQ settings do choose from once you download the app. They fit my big head comfortably.

Great headphones

These headphones are good. Not as noise canceling as I would have like on a flight, but still a great buy! They are also too big for my head, so I had to purchasing a padding to put on them. Link below. They do tend to slide around on my head quite a bit. The case does not come with the headphones. Below is a link to the one on my picture.
One thing I wanted to share with others. When using the auxiliary cord, the microphone does not work. It comes with a 3 pole auxiliary cable (I think this is the appropriate name). I purchased a 4 pole aux cable to see if that would work to activate the microphone - still a no go. I found the LANMU 3.5mm Audio Cable Aux Cord... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D9W6X9C?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Which has a microphone built into the cord, so you can use the headphone/microphone through an auxiliary cable. I was trying to use them with my XBOX where I cannot use Bluetooth. I thought others might find this helpful!

I Wish I Could Give It 6 Stars

These headphones. These are the ones that I have been looking for. I work in a fairly-noisy R&D shop and the owner is a guy who likes to try novel things, so he bought us each a pair of the older version of this model for the light amount of noise reduction that they are capable of. And he’s nice sometimes. Those things are fantastic. They do a great job of canceling noise and the sound quality is lacking almost nothing. I like wearing them way better and they are much less distracting than ear buds. They are super light and reasonably comfortable for 10+ hours.

I was looking for a pair for myself and found this upgraded model. I am aware of the glitch that sometimes makes a newer model less expensive than the older one because people usually buy the one with the most ratings, and the newer one sits around slowly accumulating enough ratings. I wanted a pair to wear on the weekend since they are inexpensive (and superior to my VERY expensive travel pair) and they keep my ears warm. They were already a fair enough deal, but I took advantage of that bug and got a pair for $8 less, but with USB-C and same day. And boy I’m glad I did. I didn’t even know about the new “transparency” function until I downloaded the app and was looking around. The app is good enough (I guess) and does let you play with the equalizer. I was able to improve the already outstanding sound (make it into a Nike swoosh)quality. But the app does little else. The old version of these headphones (the non-“+”) Isn’t recognized by the app for some reason. Call quality is very good and the Bluetooth range is amazing.

These are comfortable right out of the box and don’t squeeze too much (I am 6’4” and 210#) even after wearing 6-8 hours continuously. The battery could last for days but I just charge it every evening.

I did make some customizations since I don’t care that they fold up, and I wear them working on the farm. I needed some improved grip, especially looking up without a hat on. I wrapped the swivel with electrician’s tape (photo) which locks them into place. I added grip tape to the top arch so I’m sure I look ridiculous, but it’s my yard. They fit good and snug now, especially over a hat. I super-glued a wayward sequin beside the play/pause button so I can find it through a glove (picture). I bought a second pair (2-hr delivery) before they catch on and the cost goes up. They’re fantastic. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So far so good

So this is only day two, but so far I really like these headphones. I went with these because you can use the app and customize the sound over the plain 20's. The bass is good, but not great, but these are for my workout, and they work great for that. My only con is that they are a tad bit loose, so when I'm laying down on the bench i have to adjust them, other than that I'm pretty happy. If anything of off the rails in the next couple of months, I'll revisit this review.
